Blue Planet Dubrovnik offers a handful of unique diving locations that abound in underwater treasures. From the wrecks of old ships, caves, hidden passages, reefs and underwater lakes to the rich flora and fauna unique to this part of the Mediterranean. Due to the cleanliness of the sea and year-round favorable climate, this area is rich in marine species that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. Over 7,000 species of flora and fauna have found their home in the southern Adriatic, and among them are numerous endemic species. Since our sea is characterized by a high degree of transparency, you can go down to a depth of 40 meters and enjoy a wonderfully clear view!
Dubrovnik's underwater area is covered with wrecks, coral reefs, hidden caves and remnants of past civilizations, and if you look a little closer you will spot the occasional octopus. During the summer months, the surface temperature of the Adriatic Sea varies between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius, and at a depth of 60 meters the temperature is between 16 and 19 degrees. You will agree that these are the most comfortable conditions for diving!
Our diving equipment is regularly serviced and maintained, and all our instructors have a PADI license with an excellent knowledge of many world languages. Our task is to make your diving experience in Dubrovnik absolutely carefree and fun, and as safe as possible. If you have any questions, please see the frequently asked questions page. Equipment rental
Most of our diving courses include the full equipment rental, except for some professional courses. At the Blue Planet Diving Center Dubrovnik we provide the full equipment for all our divers in general. That includes a wetsuit, BCD, regulator, fins, boots and, mask.
Certain courses such as multi-day packages, divemaster and instructor certification do not include the full equipment in the final price since that is a general requirement for each candidate to have their own equipment.
If in any case, you would like to travel light and leave a part of your equipment at home you can be at peace because we also offer the equipment rental in total.
Diving equipment such as wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, boots, fins, masks and computers can be found at our diving center for rent.
